Gluten-Free Honey Pumpkin Ginger Pie Recipe by Bella Gluten-Free
This pumkin pie will amaze your family and guest. The addition of fresh ginger brightens the overall flavor of this lightly sweet pie. And the great part is it takes only minutes to mix the filling and prepare the dough using Bella Gluten-Free All Purpose Baking Mix Add spiced whipped cream will put it over the top. Prepare on Sweet Pastry Crust following directions on the back of the Bella Gluten-Free All Purpose Baking Mix.
1 15 ounce can of Pure Pumpkin
1/2 cup packed Brown Sugar
1/3 cup honey
3 eggs ( one at a time)
1 1/4 cups whipping cream (For Dairy/Casein Free use unsweetend milk alternative, coconut milk or coconut milk creamer)
1 TBL finely grated fresh ginger
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
Prep: 15 minutes
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
1. Mix together in large bowl pumpkin, sugar and honey.
2. Whisk in eggs one at a time, whipping cream, ginger, cinnamon and salt.
3. Pour into prepared pie crust (see Bella Gluten-Free All purpose Baking Mix for instructions) and bake until set about 60 minutes. Add center cut out 10 min. before the pie is done. If crust gets too brown before pie is done cover with foil.
